After about 4 weeks of playing AION, we have decided to make our final choice on what side we will be chosing.

Though we had previously announced as Elyos, we are going to be going Asmodian on release.  This is due to many factors, but after getting the feel from everyone, we decided against Elyos.  Next will come our choice in servers...which have yet to be announced yet. 

There is a possibility of Server #3, but this has not worked out very well for us in the past due to either population inballances or a lack of population all together.  We will let everyone know where we will be going when they tell us how many servers are going up and their physical location (will most likely be playing on a CST server).  That being said, server choice is almost 50% of your ability to have fun in a game, and has been fatal to our experience in some of the last MMOs we have ventured into.  This decision will take some time, and will not be made until everyone is in agreement.

Oh, and Say hi to our new web mascot, I am not sure what to name him yet.

The long wait is only going to be a little longer now, as NCsoft announces a September release date in North America and Europe for their highly anticipated massively multiplayer online game Aion.

Released in November in South Korea and April in China, North American and Eurpean gamers have been chomping at the bit to get their grubby little paws on NCsoft's Aion for quite some time now. With beta events in partial swing and running smoothly, NCsoft has gone ahead and penciled in a release date for the game. North American players will be able to purchase and play the game come Septeber 22nd, and after three days of relentless cross-continental taunting it will then reach European shores.

Along with the retail release, Aion will also be available for download via Steam, Direct2Drive, or directly from NCsoft.com.

I've played through several beta events so far, and all I can really say is that September 22nd seems a very long way away.

It was only just 2 days ago that the first Beta Preview Ended, but its time to get ready for the next one!  Remember there is still time to preorder and get your keys.  Be sure that you do, we need everyone ready for launch!  More info on how to get a beta key after the jump
